        "content": "<p>The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that Muara Enim\nRegent Edison (EDS) instructed Muara Enim Education and Culture Agency\nSecretary Abi Nurwardani (ABN) to receive payments from contractors\nwithin the Muara Enim Regency Government, South Sumatra. \u201cABN, on the\norders of EDS as Muara Enim Regent for the 2025-2030 period, allegedly\nreceived cash payments from contractors within the Muara Enim Regency\nGovernment,\u201d said Acting Director of KPK Investigations Achmad Taufik\nHusein at the KPK\u2019s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Tuesday.\nAccording to Taufik, Edison\u2019s orders to Abi were not limited to\ncontractors from the Muara Enim Education and Culture Agency but also\nincluded other agencies. \u201cThis is suspected to not only involve the\nEducation and Culture Agency,\u201d he said. He stated that Abi received\nmoney when meeting Cory at a hotel in Jakarta on 6 June 2026. \u201cAt that\nmeeting, ABN allegedly received cash worth Rp500 million from CRH,\u201d he\nsaid. In the 12th sting operation conducted by the KPK throughout 2026,\nEdison was one of ten people arrested. On 9 June 2026, the KPK named\nEdison as one of four suspects in a case of suspected bribery related to\nthe procurement of goods and services and other receipts within the\nMuara Enim Regency Government for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. The three\nother suspects are Abi Nurwardani, Cory Erin Hardi, and Adi Triyadi, who\nis Edison\u2019s nephew.<\/p>",
