They include Liem Eng Hwie,\nRokhmawan, and Benny Tan. The anti-corruption agency has not disclosed\nthe specific cigarette companies involved. \u201cToday, Tuesday, the KPK has\nscheduled examinations of witnesses in the alleged criminal corruption\nrelated to the importation of goods at the Directorate General of\nCustoms and Excise (DJBC),\u201d said Budi in a written statement on Tuesday\n(31\/3). Previously, KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur\nRahayu stated that his side would summon cigarette entrepreneurs in\nCentral Java and East Java regarding the investigation into alleged\ncorruption at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. \u201cWe have\nsent summons letters to the cigarette entrepreneurs, if not mistaken,\nthose in Central Java and East Java,\u201d he said at the KPK\u2019s Merah Putih\nBuilding in Jakarta on Monday (30\/3). The anti-corruption agency\nsuspects that there are cigarette companies in Central Java and East\nJava involved in the alleged corruption case in excise handling at the\nDirectorate General of Customs and Excise. In this case, the KPK has\nalready named seven individuals as suspects. They are former Director of\nInvestigation and Enforcement of the Directorate General of Customs and\nExcise for the period 2024-January 2026, Rizal; Head of the\nSubdirectorate of Enforcement Intelligence and Investigation of the\nDirectorate General of Customs and Excise (Kasubdit Intel P2 DJBC),\nSisprian Subiaksono. Then, Head of the Intelligence Section of the\nDirectorate General of Customs and Excise (Kasi Intel DJBC), Orlando;\nChairman of the Import Document Team of PT BR, Andri; Owner of PT\nBlueray named John Field; and Operational Manager of PT BR, Dedy\nKurniawan. Meanwhile, Head of the Excise Intelligence Section of the\nEnforcement and Investigation Directorate, Budiman Bayu Prasojo, was\nonly arrested and named as a suspect on Thursday (26\/2).
