        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has\nsummoned six individuals as witnesses in the alleged extortion case by\nformer Pati Regent Sudewo for examination in Rembang Regency, Central\nJava. \u201cThe examination of the witnesses will take place at the Sumber\nPolice Sector, Rembang,\u201d said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to\njournalists in Jakarta on Thursday. Budi stated that the six witnesses\nare SY, a candidate for village official in Sukorukun Village; JL, a\ncandidate for village official in Sidoluhur Village; PMN, a candidate\nfor village official in Trikoyo Village; AS, Head of Slungkep Village;\nMR, a private party; and ASH, Head of the Legal Section of the Pati\nRegency Regional Secretariat. Previously, on 19 January 2026, the KPK\nconducted a raid operation (OTT) against Sudewo in Pati Regency, Central\nJava. The following day, 20 January 2026, the KPK brought Sudewo along\nwith seven others to the KPK\u2019s Red and White Building in Jakarta for\ninvestigation processing. On the same date, the KPK named four suspects\nin the alleged extortion related to the filling of village official\npositions in Pati Regency. They are Sudewo (SDW); Head of Karangrowo\nVillage Abdul Suyono (YON); Head of Arumanis Village Sumarjiono (JION);\nand Head of Sukorukun Village Karjan (JAN).
