        "content": "<p>The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled an\nexamination of Setyowati Anggraini Saputro (SAS), the wife of PDIP\npolitician Ono Surono, on Tuesday (7 April 2026). Setyowati Anggraini\nwill be questioned as a witness in the case of alleged bribery involving\nadvance payments for projects that has ensnared inactive Bekasi Regent\nAde Kuswara Kunang (ADK).<br><br>\u201cCorrect (Ono Surono\u2019s wife will be\nexamined),\u201d said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters on Tuesday\n(7 April 2026).<br><br>The examination will take place at KPK\nheadquarters. The KPK has not detailed the questions that will be posed\nto Setyowati. \u201cThe examination will be conducted at the KPK Red and\nWhite Building,\u201d Budi stated.<br><br>The KPK had previously searched two\nhomes owned by Ono Surono located in Bandung City and Indramayu Regency.\nThe KPK dismissed allegations of intimidation towards Ono\u2019s wife during\nthe search process.<br><br>\u201cThere was none (intimidation action). The\nsearch activity proceeded smoothly and well. Even the family received\nthe activity openly,\u201d Budi said.<br><br>The KPK also confirmed that the\nsearches were to gather additional evidence in the case. Through the\nsearches, the KPK seized documents, electronic evidence, and cash\namounting to hundreds of millions of rupiah.<br><br>\u201cIn this search, the\ninvestigators found and seized several pieces of evidence. This evidence\nwill later assist the investigation process of this case,\u201d Budi\nsaid.<br><br>The KPK has designated Bekasi Regent for the 2025\u2013present\nperiod, Ade Kuswara Kunang (ADK), along with his father HM Kunang (HMK),\nas suspects in the alleged corruption case involving the receipt of\ngratuities or promises in the form of project advance money.<br><br>This\nsuspect designation is a follow-up to the KPK\u2019s raid operation conducted\non Thursday, 18 December 2025, in Bekasi Regency. In addition to Ade and\nHM Kunang, the KPK also designated private individual Sarjan (SRJ) as a\nsuspect for giving bribes.<br><br>Ade Kuswara is alleged to have\ncommunicated with Sarjan since late 2024, after being inaugurated as\nregent. From December 2024 to December 2025, Ade and his father are\nalleged to have routinely requested project advances from Sarjan, even\nthough the projects had not yet commenced.<br><br>\u201cThe total advance\ngiven by SRJ to ADK and HMK reached Rp9.5 billion, carried out in four\nhandovers through intermediaries,\u201d said Acting Deputy for Enforcement\nand Execution of the KPK, Asep Guntur Rahayu, during a press conference\nat the KPK Red and White Building in South Jakarta on Saturday (20\nDecember 2025).<br><br>Ade Kuswara is also alleged to have received\nother fund flows from several parties throughout 2025, with a total\nvalue of Rp4.7 billion.
