        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has\nsummoned Setyowati Anggraini Saputro, the wife of West Java DPRD Deputy\nChairman Ono Surono, as a witness in the investigation into the alleged\ncorruption case involving suspended Bekasi Regent Ade Kuswara\nKunang.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, Tuesday, the KPK has scheduled an examination of a witness in\nthe alleged criminal corruption act related to the down payment bribery\nfor the Bekasi Regency Government project,\u201d stated KPK Spokesperson Budi\nPrasetyo in his remarks in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the KPK stated that there was no intimidation by the\nanti-corruption agency towards Ono Surono\u2019s wife during the search of\nOno Surono\u2019s home on 1 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo, there wasn\u2019t,\u201d Budi said in a statement confirmed in Jakarta on\nFriday (3\/4).<\/p>\n<p>Budi explained that the search proceeded smoothly and well, and even\nOno Surono\u2019s family accepted it with open arms.<\/p>\n<p>The KPK conducted a sting operation (OTT) and arrested ten people in\nBekasi Regency, West Java, on 18 December 2025.<\/p>\n<p>On 19 December 2025, the KPK revealed that eight of the ten\nindividuals were brought to the KPK\u2019s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta\nfor intensive examination. Two of the eight were Ade Kunang and his\nfather, HM Kunang.<\/p>\n<p>On the same date, the KPK announced the seizure of hundreds of\nmillions of rupiah in the case allegedly related to bribery for projects\nin Bekasi Regency.<\/p>\n<p>On 20 December 2025, the KPK named Bekasi Regent Ade Kuswara Kunang\n(ADK), his father who is also the Head of Sukadami Village in Cikarang\nSelatan Subdistrict, Bekasi Regency, HM Kunang (HMK), and a private\nparty named Sarjan (SRJ) as suspects in the alleged bribery case.<\/p>\n<p>The KPK stated that Ade Kuswara and HM Kunang are suspects in the\nalleged receipt of bribes, while Sarjan is a suspect in the alleged\ngiving of bribes.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, on 15 January 2026, Ono Surono was examined as a witness.\nAfter being questioned by the KPK, he admitted to being asked about the\nflow of money related to the case.<\/p>\n<p>On 1 April 2026, the KPK searched Ono Surono\u2019s home in Bandung, West\nJava. Ono\u2019s legal counsel, Sahali, on 2 April 2026, then claimed there\nwas alleged intimidation carried out by the KPK against the wife of the\nWest Java DPRD Deputy Chairman.<\/p>",
