        "content": "<p>The KPK has summoned businessman Robert Priantono Bonosusatya (RPB).\nRobert has been called as a witness in the alleged gratification case\nimplicating former Kutai Kartanegara (Kukar) Regent Rita Widyasari.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe KPK has scheduled an examination of a witness in the alleged\ncorruption offence of gratification in Kutai Kartanegara,\u201d said KPK\nspokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters on Thursday (2\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Budi did not explain what would be probed from Robert. The\nexamination will be conducted at the KPK building in Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>For information, the KPK once searched Robert\u2019s house in May 2025.\nThe KPK seized a number of funds and documents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat on 14 to 15 May 2025, the KPK carried out a series of\ninvestigation actions in the form of a search of one house located in\nKebayoran Lama, South Jakarta,\u201d said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at\nthe KPK building in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Friday (16\/5\/2025).<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the house, the KPK also searched six cars parked at\nRobert Bonosusatya\u2019s house. The search was conducted from 20:00 to 01:00\nWIB.<\/p>\n<p>Rita\u2019s Case<\/p>\n<p>Rita was initially designated as a suspect in a bribery and\ngratification case in 2017. She was then tried in the gratification\ncase.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018, Rita was sentenced to 10 years in prison by the panel of\njudges at the Central Jakarta Corruption Court. Rita was also fined\nRp600 million subsidiary 6 months imprisonment and revocation of\npolitical rights for 5 years.<\/p>\n<p>The judges stated that Rita was proven to have received gratification\nof Rp110 billion related to project permitting in Kutai Kartanegara.\nRita attempted to challenge the verdict.<\/p>\n<p>Rita\u2019s efforts failed after the Supreme Court rejected her request\nfor review (PK) in 2021. Rita has been executed to Pondok Bambu\nPrison.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the gratification case, Rita remains a suspect in an\nalleged money laundering case. In July 2024, the KPK revealed that Rita\nalso received money from mining entrepreneurs.<\/p>",
