        "content": "<p>The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has seized evidence worth\nRp21.2 billion from a sting operation involving Sukoharjo Regent Etik\nSuryani. The haul includes Rp6.4 billion in cash, foreign currency worth\napproximately Rp7.5 billion, and precious metals valued at Rp7.3\nbillion, consisting of 25 gold bars weighing 100 grams each.<\/p>\n<p>KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur Rahayu stated\nthat during the operation on Thursday, 18 individuals were initially\ndetained across three areas: Sukoharjo, Wonogiri, and Surakarta.\nFollowing initial questioning at the Surakarta Police Station, nine\npeople were taken to the KPK\u2019s Red and White Building in Jakarta for\nfurther investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Based on sufficient preliminary evidence, the KPK elevated the case\nto an investigation and named three suspects. They are Etik Suryani, the\nRegent of Sukoharjo; Richard Tri Handoko, the Head of the Regional\nFinancial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD); and Tri Mulyo, the\nRegent\u2019s trusted aide and Head of General Affairs at the Regional\nSecretariat.
