The KPK has carried out a sting operation (operasi tangkap tangan,\nOTT) against Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro. The commission secured\nevidence in the form of Rp 2 billion in cash during the operation.<\/p>\n

Budi said several rooms at the Pemalang Regency Government office had\nbeen sealed by the KPK. In total, 21 people were secured in this\noperation.<\/p>\n
Some of those caught in the sting operation are already in Jakarta.\nOthers are still being questioned in Pemalang.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn this sting operation, yes, the team has also sealed several\nlocations in Pemalang,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Earlier, the sting operation against Anom was confirmed by Deputy\nChair of the KPK Fitroh Rohcahyanto. The KPK has not yet explained the\ncase that led to Anom being taken into custody.<\/p>\n
