        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) seized\ndocuments and electronic evidence during a search of the residence of\nRiyoso, Head of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (Kadis\nPUTR) of Pati Regency, concerning alleged extortion involving non-active\nPati Regent Sudewo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring the search, investigators secured documents and electronic\nevidence to support the investigation process in this case,\u201d KPK\nSpokesperson Budi Prasetyo said in Jakarta on Friday, 27 February.<\/p>\n<p>Budi explained that the search of Riyoso\u2019s residence was conducted on\n27 February 2026, relating to his role as former Acting Regional\nSecretary of Pati Regency.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, on 19 January 2026, the KPK carried out a hand-catch\noperation (OTT) against Sudewo in Pati Regency, Central Java. The\nfollowing day, 20 January 2026, the KPK brought Sudewo along with seven\nothers to the KPK\u2019s Red and White Building in Jakarta for the\ninvestigation process.<\/p>\n<p>On the same date, the KPK designated four suspects in the alleged\nextortion case related to the filling of village official positions in\nPati Regency. They are Sudewo (SDW); Head of Karangrowo Village Abdul\nSuyono (YON); Head of Arumanis Village Sumarjiono (JION); and Head of\nSukorukun Village Karjan (JAN).<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Sudewo was also designated as a suspect in alleged\nbribery related to railway development and maintenance projects under\nthe Directorate General of Railways of the Ministry of\nTransportation.<\/p>",
