        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2014 The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said Pekalongan\nRegent Fadia Arafiq (FAR) has become a suspect in a case of alleged\ncorruption after being involved in a conflict of interest through her\nfamily-owned company, PT Raja Nusantara Berdaya (RNB).<\/p>\n<p>Deputy for Enforcement and Execution at the KPK, Asep Guntur Rahayu,\nexplained that PT RNB operates in outsourcing services and acts as a\nvendor in the procurement of goods and services within the Pekalongan\nRegency Government, Central Java.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Here the conflict begins. Merely forming a company is not a problem.\nHowever, when an official owns a company or is affiliated with one, and\na relative is involved or actively participates as a vendor in the\nprocurement of goods and services where they work, that becomes the\nstarting point of the problem,\u2019 he said at the Red and White Building of\nthe KPK, Jakarta, on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>He said Fadia Arafiq is alleged to have received up to Rp5.5 billion\nduring the 2023-2026 period through PT RNB. \u2018Ms FAR received Rp5.5\nbillion,\u2019 he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, on 3 March 2026, the KPK announced it had conducted a series\nof arrest operations during Ramadan, the seventh OTT of the year.<\/p>\n<p>The KPK said it arrested Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq along with an\naide and trusted associates in the Semarang area, Central Java. The KPK\nthen announced the arrest of 11 others from Pekalongan, Central\nJava.<\/p>\n<p>On 4 March 2026, the KPK named Fadia Arafiq as the sole suspect in a\ncase of alleged corruption related to the procurement of outsourcing or\nmanpower services, and other procurements within the Pekalongan Regency\nGovernment for the 2023-2026 fiscal year.<\/p>",
