        "content": "<p>The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has revealed initial\ninformation regarding the origin of the cash in an envelope brought by\nKuantan Singingi (Kuansing) Regent Suhardiman Amby when he met Forestry\nMinister Raja Juli Antoni at the Ministry of Forestry office. \u201cThe\nsource is from the surplus of business proceeds, from the KUD (village\nunit cooperative), then collected by the treasurer, delivered by the\nregent\u2019s staff, and then brought by the regent to arrange a\nrecommendation at the ministry,\u201d said Acting Director of Investigation\nat the KPK Achmad Taufik Husein at the KPK\u2019s Merah Putih Building in\nJakarta early Saturday morning. However, Taufik stated that this\ninformation has so far only been obtained from the testimony of\nSuhardiman, who has been named a suspect. \u201cFor now, it is the regent\u2019s\nstatement. Only one party,\u201d he said. Therefore, the KPK will continue to\ninvestigate this information through witness examinations and other\nevidence. Previously, the KPK named Kuantan Singingi\nRegent Suhardiman Amby, Kuantan Singingi Regional Secretary Zulkarnain,\nand President Director of PT Mitra Ideal Consultant Ardiles as suspects\nin an alleged bribery case related to the buying and selling of\npositions within the Kuantan Singingi Regency Government. In addition to\nthe alleged bribery, the KPK also suspects Suhardiman received\ngratuities related to the release of limited production forest areas. In\na press conference on Thursday (2\/7), Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni\nsaid Suhardiman left an envelope behind during an audience on 2 June\n2026. According to Raja Juli, he only became aware of the envelope after\nhis guest had left the room and immediately ordered his aide to return\nit without opening its contents.
