JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has\nreceived information that several parties claim to be able to arrange\nand manage the handling of the alleged corruption case at the\nDirectorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC).<\/p>\n
\u201cInvestigators have received information about parties claiming to be\nable to arrange or manage the process of handling this case. This\ninformation is circulating, among others, in the Central Java region,\u201d\nsaid KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in his statement on Tuesday\n(28\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n
Budi emphasised that the claims by these parties are untrue and part\nof a fraud modus operandi that exploits the ongoing legal situation and\nprocesses.<\/p>\n
He also reminded that all law enforcement processes must be carried\nout professionally, transparently, and free from intervention by any\nparty.<\/p>\n
Budi urged reporting to the KPK if similar fraud modus operandi are\nencountered through official complaint channels.<\/p>\n
\u201cActive public participation is an important element in supporting\ncorruption eradication efforts, including in preventing fraudulent\npractices that harm the law enforcement process,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The KPK initially named six suspects in this case, namely the\nDirector of Enforcement and Investigation of the Directorate General of\nCustoms and Excise (P2 DJBC) for the 2024-2026 period, Rizal; the Head\nof the Subdirectorate of Intelligence P2 DJBC Sisprian Subiaksono, and\nthe Head of the Customs Intelligence Section DJBC Orlando Hamonangan on\nThursday (5\/2\/2026).<\/p>\n
Most recently, the KPK named the Head of the Excise Intelligence\nSection of Enforcement and Investigation (P2) DJBC, Budiman Bayu\nPrasojo, as a suspect on Friday (27\/2\/2026).<\/p>\n
KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur Rahayu said that\nJohn Field wanted the counterfeit or fake goods imported by his company,\nPT Blueray, to not be inspected upon entering Indonesia.<\/p>\n

Asep said that the criminal conspiracy between PT Blueray and several\nparties at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise began in\nOctober 2025.<\/p>\n
