        "content": "<p>The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has opened the\npossibility of taking over the alleged coal corruption case implicating\nthe former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus). This\nstep will be taken if the handling of the case is deemed to have stalled\nor shows no progress. KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution, Asep\nGuntur Rahayu, explained that this authority is regulated in Article 10A\nparagraph (2) of Law Number 19 of 2019 concerning the KPK. The\nregulation contains six criteria that allow the anti-corruption agency\nto supervise and take over cases from other law enforcement agencies.\n\u201cIn paragraph two, there are six criteria, one example is if the case is\nstalled, going back and forth without progress,\u201d Asep said. However,\nAsep stressed that the legal process, including investigations and\nsearches, is still ongoing. He stated that the KPK cannot take over a\ncase based solely on assumptions or public concerns about the\ninvolvement of certain parties. He urged all parties to respect the\nprocess being carried out by law enforcement officials, including the\nPolice\u2019s Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor) and the Attorney\nGeneral\u2019s Office. The investigation into alleged corruption and money\nlaundering involving state-owned enterprises such as PT PLN, PT Asabri,\nand PT Krakatau Steel is currently underway. Investigators have searched\n12 locations, including a private residence in Sentul, Bogor,\nacknowledged as the home of the former Jampidsus, Febrie Adriansyah,\nwhere cash and gold bars were found.<\/p>",
