        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2013 The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is examining\nthe procurement of formic acid at the Ministry of Agriculture in 2021.\nKPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said the examination was conducted on 6\nMarch 2026, with questioning Reny Maharani, the head of the 2021\nSelection Working Group, and Hendri Y. Rahman, secretary of the 2021\nSelection Working Group, as witnesses in the case of alleged corruption\nin the procurement of rubber processing facilities at the Ministry of\nAgriculture for the 2021-2023 budget year. \u2018The witnesses attended.\nInvestigators are examining the process of procuring formic acid in\n2021,\u2019 Budi told journalists in Jakarta on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, on 29 November 2024, KPK announced it had begun\ninvestigating the case of alleged corruption in the procurement of\nrubber processing facilities at the Ministry of Agriculture for the\n2021-2023 budget year. KPK explained that the alleged modus operandi in\nthe case is price inflation.<\/p>\n<p>On 2 December 2024, KPK said investigators had named a suspect in the\nrubber processing facilities case at the Ministry of Agriculture.\nMeanwhile, KPK is presently examining links between that case and an\nalleged money-laundering case by the suspect who is also the former\nMinister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL). On 21 October 2025,\nKPK announced that a civil servant named Yudi Wahyudi (YW) had become a\nsuspect in the case.<\/p>",
