        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is\nconducting an investigation into an alleged corruption case related to\nthe importation of goods within the Directorate General of Customs and\nExcise of the Ministry of Finance.<\/p>\n<p>KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that KPK investigators examined\na cigarette entrepreneur, Khairul Umam alias Haji Her, as a witness in\nthe case on Thursday (9\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, there is one witness named Mr KU or commonly known as Mr HR,\u201d\nsaid Budi Prasetyo, when met during the examination on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the examination material is still being explored by the\ninvestigators, and further developments will be communicated to the\npublic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe substance of the examination material will be updated later,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Budi revealed that Haji Her had previously been scheduled for\nexamination last week but was unable to attend the investigators\u2019\nsummons at that time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLast week, the investigators had already issued a summons, but he\nwas unable to attend.
