        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is\ninvestigating the existence of budget cuts within the internal affairs\nof the Hulu Sungai Utara District Prosecutor\u2019s Office (Kejari HSU) up to\nreceipts received by the former HSU Chief Prosecutor, Albertinus P\nNapitupulu, in the alleged extortion case.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInvestigators are delving into witness statements to complete the\ninvestigation file, related to the budget cuts carried out by the\nsuspect within the internal Kejari HSU as well as related to the\nreceipts received by Mr Albertinus,\u201d said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo\nin his official statement on Wednesday (8\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>The witness whose statement is being examined by the KPK is a civil\nservant or prosecutor from Kejari HSU, Agantha Haris Saputra, who was\nquestioned today.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the KPK named three prosecutors as suspects in the\nalleged extortion case against several regional apparatus in Hulu Sungai\nUtara, South Kalimantan, on 20 December 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The three suspects are the Head of the Hulu Sungai Utara District\nProsecutor\u2019s Office (Kajari HSU), Albertinus P Napitupulu, the Head of\nthe Intelligence Section (Kasi Intel) Asis Budianto, and the Head of the\nCivil and State Administrative Section (Kasi Datun) Tri Taruna\nFariadi.<\/p>\n<p>Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK, Asep Guntur\nRahayu, stated that Albertinus is alleged to have received a flow of\nmoney amounting to approximately Rp 804 million directly or through\nintermediaries, namely Asis Budianto as Kasi Intel and Tri Taruna\nFariadi as Kasi Datun of Kejari HSU.<\/p>\n<p>The flow of money originated from the alleged extortion by Albertinus\nagainst several regional apparatus in HSU, including the Education\nOffice, Health Office, Public Works Office (PU), and the Regional\nGeneral Hospital (RSUD).<\/p>\n<p>Not only that, Albertinus is also alleged to have received other\nreceipts amounting to Rp 450 million.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Tri Taruna is also alleged to have received a flow of\nmoney reaching Rp 1.07 billion.<\/p>\n<p>For their actions, the suspects are charged with violating Article 12\nletter e, Article 12 letter f of Law No.\u00a031 of 1999 as amended by Law\nNo.\u00a020 of 2002 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the\nCriminal Code (KUHP) in conjunction with Article 64 of the KUHP.<\/p>",
