        "content": "<p>The Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has exposed\ncorrupt practices within Cilacap Regency Government. Regent Syamsul\nAuliya Rachman (AUL) has been formally designated a suspect on suspicion\nof extortion and accepting gratification to finance Eid Holiday\nAllowance (THR) distributions.<\/p>\n<p>Asep Guntur Rahayu, Deputy for Investigation and Prosecution at the\nKPK, revealed that Syamsul allegedly instructed the collection of funds\nfrom 23 regional agencies in Cilacap Regency. Within a short timeframe\nof 9\u201313 March 2026, Rp610 million was accumulated.<\/p>\n<p>The fund collection was conducted in a systematic manner. Asep\nexplained that Cilacap Regency\u2019s Assistant II, Ferry Adhi Dharma (FER),\nserved as the fund collector from the relevant government agencies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe money was placed into goodie bags, which were stored at FER\u2019s\nprivate residence,\u201d Asep Guntur stated at the KPK\u2019s Red and White\nBuilding in South Jakarta on Saturday, 14 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Based on investigation findings, the hundreds of millions of rupiah\nwere to be submitted to Syamsul through the Cilacap Regional Secretary\n(Sekda), Sadmoko Danardono (SAD). These funds were being prepared for\ndistribution to the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda)\nas 2026 Eid bonuses.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to designating Syamsul as a suspect, the KPK also named\nRegional Secretary Sadmoko Danardono as a suspect. Investigators also\nseized electronic devices as corroborating evidence. The KPK has now\nsecured the Rp610 million in cash for further legal proceedings.<\/p>",
