The questioning aimed to\ninvestigate work packages within the Directorate General of Railways\n(DJKA) at the Ministry of Transportation in East Java. KPK Spokesperson\nBudi Prasetyo stated that investigators sought information from DMA\nregarding DJKA work packages in East Java. The questioning was conducted\nas part of the investigation into alleged bribery related to railway\nline construction and maintenance projects under the DJKA. As of 20\nJanuary 2026, the KPK had named and detained 22 suspects, including\nSudewo, a member of the House of Representatives for the 2019-2024\nperiod.
