"summary": "Indonesia's Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has interrogated a civil servant from the Ministry of Transportation, identified by initials MAHH, to further investigate the involvement of Sudewo, a former House of Representatives Commission V member suspected in a bribery case related to railway construction and maintenance projects under the Directorate General of Railways. The examination focuses on the arrangement and selection of vendors at the Railway Maintenance Agency, particularly actions by the suspect SDW, amid a broader corruption probe that originated from a 2023 sting operation and has led to 21 individuals and two corporations being named as suspects. This case highlights ongoing issues of tender manipulation in major infrastructure projects across Java, Sumatra, and Sulawesi, underscoring the KPK's efforts to combat systemic graft in public sector procurement.",
