        "content": "<p>The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined Indonesian Audit\nWatch (IAW) Secretary Iskandar Sitorus as a witness on Friday (12\/6) in\na case of alleged corruption within the Directorate General of Customs\nand Excise. Iskandar arrived at the KPK\u2019s Merah Putih building at 09:33\nWIB and was still undergoing questioning at the time of writing. KPK\nspokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that the examination was intended to\ndelve deeper into information regarding external conditioning efforts in\nthe handling of the customs case. \u201cThe material concerns the collection\nof information by HB [Heri Setiyawan, also known as Heri Black],\u201d Budi\nsaid. A day earlier, on Thursday (11\/6), the KPK had examined Heri Black\nas a witness for approximately two hours. During that session,\ninvestigators confirmed several pieces of evidence obtained from a\nsearch of Heri Black\u2019s residence in Semarang, Central Java, where they\nseized notes and electronic evidence believed to be related to the case.\nFrom the seized items, investigators obtained information about attempts\nto obstruct the investigation process. The KPK considers these actions\nas potential obstruction of justice, whether direct or indirect, and\ninvestigators will assess whether they meet the legal elements of such\nan offence. This legal process is part of completing the case files for\nseven suspects already named by the KPK in a bribery and gratification\ncase related to importation. The suspects include Rizal, former Director\nof Investigation and Enforcement at the Directorate General of Customs\nand Excise for the 2024-January 2026 period; Sisprian Subiaksono, Head\nof the Intelligence, Enforcement, and Investigation Sub-Directorate;\nOrlando, Head of the Intelligence Section; Andri, Team Leader for Import\nDocuments at PT Blueray; Budiman Bayu Prasojo, a Customs and Excise\nofficial; John Field, owner of PT Blueray; and Dedy Kurniawan,\nOperational Manager of PT Blueray. All suspects have been detained at\nthe KPK detention centre, while the PT Blueray parties are currently\nfacing trial at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District\nCourt.<\/p>",
