        "content": "<p>The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined former MPR RI\nSecretary General for the 2019-2021 period, Ma\u2019ruf Cahyono, on Thursday\n(25\/6). The examination is related to the investigation of an alleged\ngratuity case linked to the procurement of goods and services within the\nMPR. Ma\u2019ruf has been named a suspect but has not yet been detained. \u201cIt\nis true, today investigators scheduled an examination of Mr MC, the\nformer Secretary General of the MPR,\u201d said KPK Spokesperson Budi\nPrasetyo in a written statement on Thursday (25\/6). \u201cToday\u2019s examination\nis in his capacity as a suspect in the alleged gratuity case related to\nthe procurement of goods and services within the MPR Secretariat\nGeneral,\u201d he added. Based on gathered information, Ma\u2019ruf arrived at the\nKPK\u2019s Merah Putih Building at around 09.30 WIB. He was still undergoing\nexamination at the time of writing. Ma\u2019ruf Cahyono was announced as a\nsuspect by the KPK on 3 July 2025. For the first six months, from 10\nJune 2025 to 10 December 2025, Ma\u2019ruf is barred from travelling abroad.\nThe MPR has already commented on the handling of this case. MPR\nSecretary General Siti Fauziah claimed the case does not involve the\nleadership from either the 2019-2024 or 2024-2029 periods. Siti stated\nthat the MPR respects the law enforcement process being carried out by\nthe KPK.
