        "content": "<p>The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has examined former\nActing Regent of Muara Enim, Hengky Putrawan, along with three other\nofficials from the Muara Enim Regency Government in South Sumatra, as\nwitnesses in a bribery case involving non-active Regent Edison. The\nthree other officials are Muara Enim Inspector Fera Sari, Assistant II\nof the Muara Enim Regional Secretariat Rusdi Hairullah, and Head of the\nMuara Enim Regional Development Planning Agency Emran Tabrani. The\nexaminations took place at the KPK\u2019s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta.\nKPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo confirmed the identities of those\nquestioned to journalists on Thursday. In addition, the KPK also\nexamined two civil servants from the Muara Enim Education and Culture\nOffice, identified by the initials KMD and YNO, as well as two private\nsector individuals, PRS and THR. According to KPK records, the witnesses\narrived at various times, with THR arriving first at 08.55 WIB and\nHengky Putrawan at 10.00 WIB. Budi Prasetyo added that the KPK had also\nsummoned two other witnesses for questioning on the same day, namely the\nHead of the Muara Enim Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services\nOffice, Tarmizi Ismail, and a private individual with the initials HRM.\nThe case stems from a sting operation conducted on 7-8 June 2026, which\nresulted in the arrest of 10 individuals, including Regent Edison.\nFollowing the operation, the KPK named four suspects on 9 June 2026 in\nconnection with alleged bribery related to the procurement of goods and\nservices and other gratuities within the Muara Enim Regency Government\nfor the 2025-2026 fiscal year. The suspects are Edison, Secretary of the\nMuara Enim Education and Culture Office Abi Nurwardani, marketing staff\nof PT Millenium Solusi Abadi Cory Erin Hardi, and Edison\u2019s nephew Adi\nTriyadi. A subsequent sting operation on 10 June 2026 led to the arrest\nof five auditors from the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK). The following\nday, the KPK named five suspects for allegedly conditioning BPK audit\nfindings for the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025 fiscal year,\nincluding Edison, Cory Erin Hardi, PT Millenium Solusi Abadi Director\nFika Nur Alawi, private party Augusz Dewanggara, and BPK auditor Titin\nRita Lestari.
