The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) questioned six witnesses\nto complete the case file against suspect Anwar Sadad in a suspected\ncorruption case involving the management of community group (Pokmas)\ngrants from the East Java Provincial Regional Budget (APBD) for the\n2021-2022 fiscal year on Tuesday (26\/5).<\/p>\n
Anwar Sadad is a Gerindra Party member. He is a former Deputy Speaker\nof the East Java Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD) and currently\nserves as a member of Commission XIII in the national House of\nRepresentatives (DPR RI).<\/p>\n
\u201cAll witnesses attended. The questioning of witnesses concerning\nsuspect AS focused on the management of funds and implementation of\nPokmas activities,\u201d said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in a written\nstatement on Tuesday (26\/5).<\/p>\n
The witnesses were examined by the KPK at Probolinggo City Police\nStation. They include Najiburrahman (Administrator\/Representative of\nBunga Tanjung Foundation); Multazam Hairul Anam\n(Administrator\/Representative of Darul Ulum Paiton Foundation (MI Darul\nUlum Paiton)); and Zainal Muttaqin (Administrator\/Representative of\nNurul Hasan Islamic Boarding School).<\/p>\n
Also, Abd Hayyi (Private individual\/Chair of Nyiur Jaya Pokmas);\nSamsul Arifin (Private individual\/Chair of Sejahtera Berkarya Pokmas);\nand Sugiono (Private individual\/Chair of Ikmarish Pokmas).<\/p>\n
The KPK has named a total of 21 suspects in the suspected corruption\ncase involving the management of Pokmas grants from the East Java\nProvincial Regional Budget for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.<\/p>\n
Four suspects are alleged to have received bribes: former East Java\nDPRD Chair Kusnadi; former East Java DPRD Deputy Chair Anwar Sadad and\nAchmad Iskandar; and Anwar Sadad\u2019s staff member Bagus Wahyudiono.<\/p>\n
They are charged under Article 5(1)(a) or (b) or Article 13 of the\nCorruption Eradication Law (UU Tipikor) in conjunction with Article\n55(1)(1) of the Criminal Code (KUHP).<\/p>\n
The other 17 suspects are alleged bribe givers: East Java DPRD member\nMahud (2019-2024); Sampang Regency DPRD Deputy Chair and member Fauzan\nAdima (2019-2024); Probolinggo Regency DPRD Deputy Chair and member Jon\nJunaidi (2019-2024); private individuals from Sampang Regency named\nAhmad Heriyadi, Ahmad Affandy, and Abdul Motollib.<\/p>\n
Then, private individuals from Probolinggo Regency who are now East\nJava DPRD members for 2024-2029 Moch Mahrus; private individuals from\nTulungagung named A. Royan and Wawan Kristiawan; former village head\nfrom Tulungagung Regency Sukar; private individuals from Bangkalan\nRegency named Ra Wahid Ruslan and Mashudi.<\/p>\n
Then, private individuals from Pasuruan Regency named M. Fathullah\nand Achmad Yahya; private individuals from Sumenep Regency named Ahmad\nJailani; private individuals from Gresik Regency who are now East Java\nDPRD members for 2024-2029 Hasanuddin; private individuals from Blitar\nRegency named Jodi Pradana Putra.<\/p>\n
