        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2014 The Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has\nestablished Cilacap Regent Syamsul Auliya Rachman as a suspect in an\nextortion case involving Eid holiday allowance (THR) funds for 2026.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Cilacap Regional Secretary (Sekda) Sadmoko Danardono has\nalso been designated as a suspect in this case.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe KPK has elevated this matter to the investigation stage and\nestablished two suspects, namely AUL in his capacity as Cilacap Regent\nfor the 2025-2030 period and SAD as Regional Secretary of Cilacap\nRegency,\u201d stated KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur\nRahayu during a press conference at KPK\u2019s Red and White Building on\nSaturday, 14 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>According to Syamsul\u2019s calculations, THR for external parties\nrequired IDR 515 million. However, he set a target of collecting THR\nfunds totalling IDR 750 million.<\/p>\n<p>The THR funds were collected from each regional government work unit\n(SKPD) in Cilacap. Furthermore, 47 SKPDs in Cilacap were also requested\nto collect THR funds for Syamsul\u2019s personal needs.<\/p>\n<p>Until the arrest operation was conducted, the THR funds collected had\nreached IDR 610 million.<\/p>\n<p>Syamsul and Sadmoko were immediately detained at KPK detention\nfacilities for the next 20 days.<\/p>",
