        "content": "<p>Indonesia\u2019s Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has designated a\nnew suspect in the extortion case involving suspended Riau Governor\nAbdul Wahid. The KPK has designated Abdul Wahid\u2019s aide, Marjani (MJN),\nas a suspect.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday the KPK called the relevant parties in their capacity as\nwitnesses for the new suspect, Marjani, who is the Aide de Camp or\npersonal assistant to the Riau Governor,\u201d said KPK spokesperson Budi\nPrasetyo to journalists on Monday, 9 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Budi stated that the designation of the new suspect confirms that the\ninvestigation into the case will continue. However, details regarding\nwhen the suspect was formally designated and the specific articles being\ncharged will be provided later.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe designation of this new suspect confirms that the investigation\ninto the case will continue.
