The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that the\nhandling of the gratuity report filed by Forestry Minister Raja Juli\nAntoni has been completed on the prevention side. However, KPK\ninvestigators are still probing the alleged criminal offence related to\nthe case.<\/p>\n
KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that the gratuity report\nregarding an envelope given by Kuantan Singingi Regent Suhardiman Amby\nto Minister Raja Juli Antoni has been closed by the Directorate of\nGratuities and Public Services. \u201cSo, on the prevention side, the\ngratuity report made by the Minister of Forestry is case closed,\u201d Budi\nsaid on Thursday, 16 July 2026.<\/p>\n
He stressed that the conclusion of the prevention aspect does not\nhalt the legal process currently underway at the investigation stage.\nInvestigators are still probing the connection between the envelope and\na corruption case being handled in Kuantan Singingi Regency.<\/p>\n
In the case construction, investigators suspect the money in the\nenvelope originated from funds collected from various parties. The KPK\nis therefore investigating the purpose, motive, and the party who\ninitiated the handover. \u201cThe purpose, objective, and whose initiative it\nwas, the motive behind it, all of it will be investigated by the\ninvestigators,\u201d Budi explained.<\/p>\n
The KPK has completed the verification and analysis of the report\nsubmitted by Raja Juli Antoni, but cannot disclose the contents or\nconclusions of the analysis to the public.
