        "content": "<p>The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has revealed the reasons\nfor summoning several cigarette businessmen in the alleged bribery case\nconcerning imports at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise in\nrecent days. Investigators are confirming findings to prepare the case\nfiles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTestimonies from these witnesses are certainly needed to confirm the\nfindings or other evidence,\u201d said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the\nKPK\u2019s Merah Putih Building in South Jakarta on Friday, 3 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Budi declined to detail the evidence held by investigators for\nconfirmation with the cigarette businessmen. In this case, most of the\nevidence was found in safe houses at various locations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat has been gathered by investigators, both in the series of\nhand-caught arrests, search operations, or from statements of suspects\nand witnesses,\u201d Budi stated.<\/p>\n<p>Not all cigarette businessmen are cooperative in this case.
