KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto stated that investigators will\nscrutinise information emerging from the trial of an alleged import\nbribery case at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. This\nincludes testimony implicating the Ministry of Finance\u2019s Director\nGeneral of Customs and Excise, Djaka Budhi Utama.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith the emergence of such information, it is certainly being\nscrutinised by investigators and the enforcement deputy; it is not\nsimply dismissed,\u201d Setyo said at the LAN RI building in Central Jakarta\non Wednesday (17\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n
He noted that the trial process is still ongoing and that\ndevelopments are typically communicated after the process is complete.\n\u201cNormally, after the trial, the prosecutor will produce what is called a\ndevelopment report from the prosecution process,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
Setyo explained that investigators are still examining the\ninformation that has surfaced. He guaranteed that information emerging\nduring the trial will not be set aside. \u201cEverything cannot possibly be\nignored; everything is being studied until a further decision is made,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>\n
Previously, PT BlueRay Cargo boss John Field, a defendant in the\ncase, admitted to giving a total of Rp 21 billion to Djaka Budhi. The\nadmission was made during a defendant examination hearing at the Central\nJakarta Corruption Court on Friday (12\/6). The money was given in\nseveral stages using specific codes.<\/p>\n
John confirmed the existence of codes for the recipients: BC1 for\nDjaka Budhi Utama, BC2 for Rizal, the Director of Enforcement and\nInvestigation at DJBC for the period 2024 to January 2026, and BC3 for\nSisprian Subiaksono, the Head of the Intelligence Sub-Directorate for\nPrevention and Investigation at DJBC. John stated these codes were\nconveyed verbally by Orlando Hamonangan, the Head of the Intelligence\nSection at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. Rizal,\nSisprian, and Orlando are suspects in the case but have not yet been\ntried.<\/p>\n
The prosecutor stated that the payments to Djaka were made seven\ntimes since July 2025, with each envelope containing Rp 3 billion,\ntotalling Rp 21 billion over the seven deliveries.<\/p>\n
In this case, KPK prosecutors have charged three defendants from\nBlueray Cargo\u2019s leadership in a bribery case related to goods\nimportation at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. The three\ndefendants are John Field as head of Blueray Cargo, Deddy Kurniawan\nSukolo as Operational Manager of Blueray Cargo, and Andri as head of the\ndocuments team at Blueray Cargo.
