The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed the arrest\nof Golkar Party DPP Chairman Fahd Arafiq and former Kebumen Regent Arif\nSugiyanto during a sting operation (OTT) within the Ministry of Agrarian\nAffairs and Spatial Planning\/National Land Agency (ATR\/BPN).<\/p>\n
KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo responded to journalists\u2019 inquiries\nregarding whether Fahd Arafiq was among those apprehended. \u201cOne of the\nparties secured,\u201d Budi confirmed at the KPK Red and White Building,\nJakarta, on Monday.<\/p>\n
When journalists further questioned whether Arif Sugiyanto was also\narrested by the KPK, Budi confirmed, \u201cOne of them is among those\nsecured.\u201d<\/p>\n
The KPK previously confirmed that this marks the 20th sting operation\nconducted throughout 2026. The operation pertains to alleged corruption\nin the administration of Building Use Rights (HGB).<\/p>\n
The KPK stated that 17 individuals were arrested in the operation,\nincluding the Director General of Land Control and Spatial Order at the\nMinistry of ATR\/BPN, Lampri; the Head of the Bogor I Regency Land\nOffice, Sontang Coin Manurung; and the Head of the Tangerang City Land\nOffice, Tardi.<\/p>\n
Budi Prasetyo added that the sting operation is also suspected to be\nlinked to other forms of illicit receipts by state officials.<\/p>\n
