        "content": "<p>Kostrad suspected in police attack<\/p>\n<p>MAKASSAR, South Sulawesi: The provincial police headquarters<br>\nwere attacked on Saturday by a group of men believed to be from<br>\nthe Army's Strategic Reserves Command (Kostrad).<\/p>\n<p>No injuries were reported but there was minor damage to a<br>\nguard post in front of the compound.<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses said the attackers alighted from five military<br>\ntrucks, a Kijang and Daihatsu Espass vans and vandalized the<br>\npost.<\/p>\n<p>Security was tightened on Sunday and the situation around the<br>\npolice headquarters and the Kostrad base in Kariango area was<br>\ncalm but tense.<\/p>\n<p>Many linked the attack to a brawl between policemen and<br>\nKostrad personnel last week which left four soldiers injured.<\/p>\n<p>Provincial police chief Brig. Gen. Mudji Santoso would not<br>\nconfirm the speculation, saying the earlier incident was settled.<br>\nHe added those involved in Sunday's brawl had been questioned.<\/p>\n<p>Mudji said the incident involving his personnel and Kostrad<br>\nmembers should not be blown out of proportion.(08\/27)<\/p>",
