        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2013 Andrie Yunus, who was attacked with caustic liquid on the\nevening of Thursday, 12 March, is undergoing intensive recovery in the\nHigh Care Unit (HCU) at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) in Central\nJakarta, according to Jane Rosalina, Head of the Impunity Monitoring\nDivision at KontraS.<\/p>\n<p>Jane stated that the victim\u2019s recovery duration cannot yet be\ndetermined with certainty whilst undergoing intensive care. The\ntreatment process is predicted to require a considerable length of time,\ngiven the experience of former KPK investigator Novel Baswedan, who\nsuffered from a similar acid attack and underwent recovery lasting\nseveral months.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also cannot confirm how long it will take because the timeframe\nis quite lengthy. Looking at the eye and skin treatment that Novel\nBaswedan underwent alone, it took several months,\u201d she explained during\nan intercept interview at the YLBHI Building in Central Jakarta on\nMonday.<\/p>\n<p>Jane further clarified that the hospital has successfully\nadministered initial treatment for the inflammatory reaction caused by\nthe caustic liquid exposure to the victim\u2019s eyes.
