        "content": "<p>Komnas to submit May riot report<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: The ad hoc team of the National Commission of Human<br>\nRights given a mandate to investigate the May 1998 riots was<br>\nscheduled to submit its findings to the Attorney General&apos;s Office<br>\n(AGO) next week, according to the team&apos;s chairman.<\/p>\n<p>Solahuddin Wahid said that his team would submit the results<br>\nof the inquiry to Attorney General M.A. Rachman for further<br>\ninvestigation.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We hope the Attorney General will set up his own team to<br>\ninterrogate all those allegedly involved in the bloody rioting<br>\nthat claimed at least 66 lives,&quot; he said.<\/p>\n<p>The team has classified the bloody incident into crimes<br>\nagainst humanity.<\/p>\n<p>Solahuddin said that the team concluded that some 20 civilian<br>\nand military officials should be held responsible for their<br>\nfailure to prevent the crimes.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;They are named because it appears they neglected their duty<br>\nto keep peace,&quot; he said. -- JP<\/p>",
