Andrie Yunus became a victim of an acid attack in\nmid-March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Komnas HAM Monitoring and Investigation Commissioner Saurlin P.\nSiagian stated that the two-year recovery process is due to the injuries\nsuffered by Andrie Yunus. This is based on information from the medical\nteam.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSurgeries are still ongoing and will continue for six months to two\nyears ahead for recovery,\u201d he said in Jakarta on Thursday (26\/3).<\/p>\n<p>The burns on Andrie Yunus\u2019s body, he said, were caused by a strong\nacidic chemical.
