        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Ministry of Communication and Digital\n(Komdigi) is urging digital platforms TikTok and Roblox to promptly\ncomply with policies restricting access for users under 16 years old.\n\u201cWe previously issued a warning to TikTok. So this is not an inspection,\nbut a warning to TikTok and Roblox, which had shown partial compliance,\nto fully meet their obligations,\u201d stated Minister of Communication and\nDigital (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid on Thursday (9\/4\/2026). According to\nMeutya, the government is still awaiting action plans from TikTok and\nRoblox regarding concrete steps they will take to fulfil child\nprotection obligations in the digital realm. \u201cWe are still waiting\nbecause we requested time until the 10th, which is tomorrow, for them to\nthen submit their action plans,\u201d she said. \u201cAs of today, we see that\nMeta has officially updated its community guidelines, setting a minimum\nage limit of 16 years across all its platforms, namely Instagram,\nFacebook, and Threads. This has also been conveyed through an official\nletter we received,\u201d she added. This compliance step follows an\ninspection process that took place earlier in the week. Thus, the\ngovernment assesses that the requested compliance requirements have been\nmet. Nevertheless, the Ministry of Communication and Digital emphasises\nthat the implementation of these policies will continue to be monitored\non an ongoing basis.
