The presence of the hub is expected
to help the development of innovation and digital talent not only be
concentrated in one region.

“The success of GSIH cannot be measured solely by the number of
activities or collaborations, but by the output produced and its impact
on society. From BSD and ten partner cities, we want to ensure that
innovation and digital talent can grow in various regions, so that
connectivity can be translated into growth and ultimately strengthen
Indonesia’s digital sovereignty,” said Meutya according to a press
release received on Friday (28/8/2026).

President Director of Ericsson Indonesia Nora Wahby said that the
5GIC located at GSIH is a collaborative space for various parties to
develop digital solutions that can be applied to industry needs.

“Garuda Spark Innovation Hub is a manifestation of collaboration
between government, industry, academia and talent, startups/communities,
and ecosystem partners to develop applicable digital solutions.
