        "content": "<p>Head of the Special Task Force for Drug Enforcement at the Criminal\nInvestigation Directorate of the Indonesian National Police (Bareskrim\nPolri), Kombes Kevin Leleury, disclosed that during the arrest operation\nagainst suspected major drug trafficker Erwin, alias Koko Erwin, the\nsuspect offered resistance to police officers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was some resistance, but minimal, which we were able to\nmanage,\u201d Leleury stated in Tangerang, Banten, on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Koko Erwin, who allegedly acted as a supplier of both money and\nnarcotics to the former Police Chief of Bima, AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro,\nwas successfully apprehended in the Tanjung Balai area, North Sumatra,\nwhilst attempting to cross into Malaysia on Thursday (26 February).<\/p>\n<p>During the arrest operation, authorities also detained two other\nsuspected accomplices, identified as A, alias Y, and R, alias K.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe suspect (Koko Erwin) was arrested whilst attempting to cross\nusing a vessel headed for Malaysia,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Leleury stated that the two individuals were found to have played a\nrole in assisting Koko Erwin in fleeing to Malaysia to evade police\napprehension.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSuspect A, alias Y, was arrested in Riau, whilst R, alias K, was\narrested in Tanjung Balai along with Erwin,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Based on interrogation results, the primary suspect had reportedly\nplanned to flee abroad following preparations made after learning he was\na wanted person. In this regard, Leleury emphasised that Koh Erwin is a\nmajor methamphetamine kingpin operating in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). He\nis suspected of having supplied both money and narcotics to Kuncoro.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFurther details regarding the connections will likely be explained\nat the forthcoming press conference,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
