        "content": "<p>The Klaten Police District, in coordination with Forkopimda (a\nregional coordination forum), destroyed confiscated evidence of\nalcoholic beverages and illegally modified motorcycle silencers to\nensure public safety and order ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.<\/p>\n<p>The destruction of counterfeit alcoholic beverages and\nnon-specification silencers (known as \u201cknalpot brong\u201d) took place for\nthe second time this Ramadan at the Klaten Regency Government Complex on\nTuesday, 17 March.<\/p>\n<p>Klaten Police Chief AKB Faruk Rozi reported that 15,684 bottles of\nalcoholic beverages were destroyed, comprising 14,203 bottles of ciu and\n1,481 bottles of various branded spirits, along with 769 illegal\nsilencers.<\/p>\n<p>The destruction of confiscated alcohol and illegal silencers also\naimed to ensure public order and safety as Hindu communities prepare for\nNyepi, the Hindu New Year (Saka Year 1948).<\/p>\n<p>The destruction operation was attended by Regent Hamenang Wajar\nIsmoyo, Klaten Regional Parliament Chairman Edy Sasongko, regional\ncoordination bodies, religious leaders, and community figures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, we collectively destroy confiscated evidence of alcoholic\nbeverages and illegal silencers from operations conducted by the Klaten\nPolice District and local government through the Civil Order Enforcement\nUnit during Ramadan 1447 H,\u201d said the Police Chief.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative to ensure public safety and order represents a\ncoordinated effort between the military and police, supported by the\nKlaten Regency Government through the Civil Order Enforcement Unit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe express our gratitude to all segments of society supporting this\ndestruction of confiscated alcoholic beverages and illegally modified\nsilencers,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion, Regent Hamenang Wajar Ismoyo commended the Police\nChief for engaging the military and local government in the destruction\noperation.<\/p>\n<p>The activity represents a concrete commitment from Klaten\u2019s regional\nleadership in rapidly addressing issues within the region, namely the\ncirculation of alcoholic beverages and illegally modified silencers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlcohol and illegal silencers remain a significant problem in\nKlaten.
