        "content": "<p>KL relaxes property rules<\/p>\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR (AFP): Malaysia&apos;s Acting Prime Minister Anwar<br>\nIbrahim said yesterday the government would rules over property<br>\nbuyers to allow foreign investors to purchase office and shopping<br>\ncomplexes.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;I have asked the foreign investment committee to give more<br>\nflexibility to allow foreigners to buy properties including<br>\ncondominiums within the city limits,&quot; he told reporters here.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Any proposals forwarded by foreigners will be considered<br>\nimmediately,&quot; he said, adding that all of the country&apos;s state<br>\ngovernments would soon meet to discuss and draw-up uniform<br>\nguidelines.<\/p>\n<p>Anwar, who is also finance minister, said property developers<br>\nhad complained that the committee&apos;s restrictions were inhibiting<br>\nthe natural growth of the property sector.<\/p>",
