        "content": "<p>Satgas Rajawali Mambri and Satgas Damai Cartenz shot dead Hurbianus\nMirip, a member of the armed criminal group (KKB) from the Kodap III D\nDulla group led by Aibon Kogoya.<\/p>\n<p>The head of public relations for the Damai Cartenz Operation,\nAssistant Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, in a written statement on Thursday\n(19\/3), revealed that the shooting occurred in the Bukit Signal area\nnear Kali Pepaya, Nabire Regency, on Monday (16\/3).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHurbianus Mirip was a member of the KKB Kodap III D Dulla who has\nbeen on the wanted list since 2025 for alleged involvement in various\narmed violent actions in the Nabire and Paniai areas,\u201d said Assistant\nCommissioner Yusuf.<\/p>\n<p>Yusuf detailed that Hurbianus Mirip was suspected of being involved\nin the murder of two Brimob personnel on 13 August 2025, accompanied by\nthe seizure of two AK-101 firearms.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the group was also suspected of shooting at civilians\nand security personnel in the Kali Semen area on 17 October 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The group was also recorded as carrying out a road blockade on the\nTrans Nabire-Paniai Road at KM 58 on 20 October 2025, as well as\nengaging in a firefight with security forces in the Bukit Doa area on 27\nNovember 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Not only that, said Yusuf, the group also carried out an attack on a\nTNI security post in the PT Kristalin area on 21 February 2026.<\/p>\n<p>That attack resulted in the death of one TNI personnel and one\ncivilian, as well as the seizure of three firearms.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to armed violent actions, the group was also suspected of\nbeing involved in the assault on a police member, namely Bripa Kanza A.\nMampioper, which occurred at Enarotali Market (Old PLN), Paniai\nRegency.<\/p>\n<p>In that incident, the victim suffered wounds to the right chest, a\nlaceration to the back of the head, and injuries to the right palm.<\/p>\n<p>The head of the Damai Cartenz 2026 Operation, Brigadier General\nFaizal Ramadhani, stated that security forces will continue to strive to\nmaintain security stability in Papua from various violent threats\ncarried out by armed groups.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSatgas Damai Cartenz Operation together with Satgas Rajawali Mambri\nwill continue to safeguard public security and ensure the situation\nremains conducive from various violent actions carried out by armed\ngroups,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the deputy head of the Damai Cartenz 2026 Operation,\nAssistant Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, urged the public to remain calm\nand not be easily influenced by unverified information.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe invite all members of the public to continue maintaining public\nsecurity and order so that it remains safe and conducive in Central\nPapua Province, especially in Nabire Regency, and to immediately report\nto the authorities if they become aware of any suspicious activities,\u201d\nhe concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, security forces assured that they will continue to\nmonitor developments in several areas of Central Papua to maintain\nsecurity stability and provide a sense of security to the public.<\/p>",
