        "content": "<p>The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) and the\nIndonesian Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) in Jeddah have facilitated the\nexport of Indonesian herbal health products valued at Rp2.5 billion to\nSaudi Arabia.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Consul General of Indonesia in Jeddah, Yusron\nAmbary, the trade agreement is formalised in a Letter of Agreement (LoA)\nbetween PT Dami Sariwana, an industry nurtured by the Indonesian\nMinistry of Trade, and the Saudi company Al Itholah Trading.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe LoA covers the initial shipment of one container of Indonesian\nherbal products, consisting of male vitality supplements, blood sugar\ncontrol support products, and slimming products, with a transaction\nvalue of Rp2.5 billion,\u201d said Yusron on Tuesday (16\/6).<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the agreement was signed on Monday (15\/6) at the\nIndonesian Embassy in Jeddah via a hybrid format. The parties in Jeddah\nwere connected to their partners in Semarang, Central Java, through\nteleconferencing.<\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, the Coordinator of Economic Functions at KJRI\nJeddah expressed appreciation for the success of Indonesian herbal\nproducts entering the Saudi market.<\/p>\n<p>Yusron noted that as part of international trade risk mitigation,\nKJRI Jeddah and ITPC Jeddah had previously conducted field verifications\nof Al Itholah Trading. This was done to ensure the validity and\nreadiness of the Saudi importer to engage in cooperation with partners\nin Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>The Indonesian Embassy in Jeddah and ITPC Jeddah hope that this\nexport will open wider opportunities for Indonesian herbal products. The\nexport is also expected to diversify the range of Indonesian products\navailable in Saudi Arabia, alongside the various food products, spices,\nand daily necessities from Indonesia that are already well-known to\nSaudi consumers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe importer has also expressed their commitment to continuing\norders if these products receive a positive response from the Saudi\nArabian market,\u201d said Yusron.<\/p>\n<p>Before the signing of the cooperation contract, he added that they\nalso invited representatives from Al Itholah Trading to visit the \u2018Pojok\nIndonesia\u2019 at the Integrated Service Building of KJRI Jeddah as an\neffort to introduce Indonesia\u2019s flagship products and the potential for\ntrade cooperation that can be established.<\/p>",
