        "content": "<p>Kim supports IMF term<\/p>\n<p>SEOUL (Reuters): South Korea's president-elect Kim Dae-jung<br>\nyesterday reassured the United States of his commitment to the<br>\nterms and conditions of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) aid<br>\npackage, an official at Kim's party said.<\/p>\n<p>Kim also asked the United States to support South Korea's<br>\nefforts to overcome the economic crisis, said vice-spokesman Yoon<br>\nHo-jung of the National Congress for New Politics Party.<\/p>\n<p>Kim made the comments to the U.S. Ambassador to Seoul Steven<br>\nBosworth and Deputy Treasury Secretary David Lipton when they met<br>\nhim for a courtesy call.<\/p>\n<p>Since winning the presidential election last Thursday, Kim has<br>\nsaid repeatedly his government would faithfully abide by the<br>\nterms and conditions attached to the record $60-billion IMF-led<br>\nbailout package.<\/p>",
