Killer crocodile caught and killed<\/p>\n
SAMARINDA, E. Kalimantan: A six-meter-long crocodile
\n(Crocodilus Porosus) which is believed to have killed a villager
\nby the Kayan River a fortnight ago, was caught Saturday.<\/p>\n
Residents and Bulungan regency personnel hunted down and
\nkilled the crocodile, which had also attacked a seven-year-old
\nboy.<\/p>\n
Antara reported yesterday that the police would cut open the
\nblackish crocodile, the stomach of which measured two-and-a-half
\nmeters, to look for the remains of 14-year-old Mohtar from Teluk
\nPengantin village.<\/p>\n
\"Usually victims' hair and bones can still be found inside a
\ncrocodile. We are sure that this crocodile ate Mohtar and
\nattacked one of the hunters, because its teeth are broken,\"
\nBulungan police chief Lt. Col. Hidayat said.<\/p>\n
The crocodile was speared to death in Manjuaring River, five
\nkilometers from Teluk Pengantin village, after it was lured out
