        "content": "<p>Anggota Komisi I DPRD Jawa Barat dari Fraksi Partai Kebangkitan\nBangsa (PKB), Sidkon Djampi, has expressed deep condolences over the\npassing of Pondok Buntet Pesantren elder KH Hasanuddin Kriyani. Abah\nHasan died at the Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) in Jakarta on Wednesday\n(12\/8\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Sidkon assessed that the passing of Abah Hasan is a great loss for\nthe extended family of Pondok Buntet Pesantren and the wider pesantren\nworld. During his lifetime, Abah Hasan was known as an ulama who was\nclose to the community, humble, warm, and compassionate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInnalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji\u2019un. We are deeply saddened by the\npassing of Abah Hasan. He was a humble, warm, and compassionate ulama.\nHis exemplary conduct will always be remembered,\u201d Sidkon said on\nThursday (13\/8\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>He explained that Abah Hasan not only played an important role in the\nlife of the pesantren but was also a figure who upheld Islamic values\nand pesantren traditions. The deceased contributed to the continuity of\neducation and religious life within the Pondok Buntet Pesantren\nenvironment.<\/p>\n<p>Abah Hasan was previously entrusted by the elders of Pondok Buntet\nPesantren to continue the leadership of KH Adib Rofiuddin Izza, who\npassed away on 1 June 2026. Since his youth, the deceased was active in\nthe pesantren world. Abah Hasan was also once entrusted as the Rais\nSyuriah of the Cirebon Regency branch of Nahdlatul Ulama (PCNU). In July\n2026, he was elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees (Dewan Sepuh) of\nthe Pondok Buntet Pesantren Educational Foundation (YLPI).<\/p>\n<p>Sidkon Djampi hopes that the bereaved family and students will be\ngranted fortitude. He prayed that all of Abah Hasan\u2019s good deeds would\nbe accepted by Allah SWT. \u201cMay Allah SWT forgive all his shortcomings,\naccept all his acts of worship, and place Abah Hasan in the best place\nby His side.
