        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The uncle of PT Orbit Terminal Merak\u2019s\nbeneficial owner, Muhamad Kerry Adrianto Riza, Irawan Prakoso, has\ndenied ever serving as a mouthpiece for Kerry\u2019s father, Mohamad Riza\nChalid, to communicate with Pertamina officials in order to facilitate\nthe BBM terminal lease project in Merak.<\/p>\n<p>Irawan explained this when questioned by the defence team for the\naccused in the continuation of the case file hearing for Hanung Budya\nYuktyanta, Director of Marketing and Trading at PT Pertamina (Persero)\nfrom April 2012 to 2014, and former VP of Supply and Distribution at PT\nPertamina (Persero), Alfian Nasution.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs it true that in 2012, as Mohamad Riza Chalid\u2019s trusted associate,\nyou conveyed a message from Mohamad Riza Chalid for PT Pertamina\n(Persero) to use the Merak BBM Terminal to Mr Hanung?\u201d asked Hanung\u2019s\nlawyer, Aldres Napitupulu, during the hearing at the Jakarta Corruption\nCourt on Tuesday (31\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNever,\u201d Irawan replied.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen, did you state that Tanki Merak would take over and offer it to\nthe corporation, PT Pertamina (Persero), which was responded to by Mr\nHanung by asking Mr Irawan to submit a proposal letter?\u201d Aldres\npressed.<\/p>\n<p>Irawan said he never made such a statement, which the indictment\nclaims occurred in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c(In March 2013) allegedly you said again that Tanki Merak (Kerry\u2019s\ncompany) would take over and offer the TBBM to PT Pertamina (Persero).\nDid that happen, sir?\u201d Aldres asked again.<\/p>\n<p>Irawan again denied ever dealing with Kerry\u2019s company.<\/p>\n<p>Hanung, now an accused in a separate case file, admitted to feeling\npressured by Mohamad Riza Chalid\u2019s side if he did not sign the fuel oil\n(BBM) terminal agreement. This was stated in Hanung\u2019s examination record\n(BAP) read out by the prosecutor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I do not sign the OE or HTS approval, the direct appointment of\nthe winner, namely PT Oiltanking Merak, and the signing of the fuel oil\n(BBM) receiving, storage, and delivery services agreement with PT\nOiltanking Merak, I will be removed due to pressure from Mohamad Riza\nChalid,\u201d said prosecutor Triyana Setia Putra during the hearing at the\nCorruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court on Monday\n(20\/10\/2025).<\/p>\n<p>In the same BAP, Hanung claimed the pressure from Riza Chalid came\nthrough the arrival of Irawan Prakoso.<\/p>\n<p>Hanung stated that Irawan was Riza\u2019s trusted associate.<\/p>",
