        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Population and Family\nDevelopment\/National Population and Family Planning Board\n(Kemendukbangga\/BKKBN) is collaborating with multiple stakeholders to\nprovide adequate sanitation to prevent stunting in West Lombok Regency,\nWest Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB).<\/p>\n<p>Representatives of the NTB Provincial BKKBN provide sanitation\nthrough the Genting programme (Gerakan Orang Tua Asuh Cegah Stunting \u2013\nthe Movement of Foster Parents to Prevent Stunting) by building a\nhealthy latrine for one family with a pregnant mother in Narmada\nVillage, Narmada District, on Wednesday (20\/5) with support from the\nIndonesian Civil Servants Corps (KORPRI).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis aid for building a healthy latrine is a concrete example that\ngood collaboration can deliver tangible solutions for target families.\nThrough the spirit of mutual aid and shared concern, we are not only\nhelping provide adequate sanitation but also building a healthy\nenvironment,\u201d said Acting Head of the NTB Provincial BKKBN, Johari\nEfendi, in a statement in Jakarta on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>To support the growth and development of the next generation, BKKBN\npresents Genting as a form of social concern for families at risk of\nstunting, including increasing support from the Desa Narmada Family\nPlanning Extension Workers (PKB) and the Village Head of Narmada who\nalso participate in helping provide additional materials and\nconstruction workers to accelerate the completion of the healthy\nlatrine.<\/p>\n<p>The construction of the healthy latrine is carried out to accelerate\nthe reduction of stunting in the village because data shows that 179\nfamilies are at risk of stunting with 13 of them lacking a proper\ntoilet.<\/p>\n<p>The NTB Provincial BKKBN representative also provides education to\nfamilies on the importance of sanitation, clean and healthy living,\nmeeting the nutrition needs of pregnant women, and efforts to prevent\nstunting from an early age.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, various assistance has been distributed to target\nfamilies, such as nutritional aid in the form of eggs and milk from\nvarious parties, both individuals and communities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope this movement will continue to be expanded and become an\ninspiration for various parties to together become foster parents for\nfamilies at risk of stunting, so that NTB families become healthy,\nindependent and of high quality,\u201d said Johari.<\/p>",
