        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and\nTechnology (Kemdiktisaintek) is targeting the transformation of 30\noutstanding schools across the country into SMA Unggul Garuda\nTransformasi by 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year, there are plans, God willing, for another 30 Garuda\nTransformation Schools to be incorporated into the Garuda School\necosystem,\u201d said the Director General of Science and Technology at\nKemdiktisaintek, Ahmad Najib Burhani, during the Launching and\nSocialisation of the Selection of SMA Unggul Garuda Transformasi 2026 in\nJakarta on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Najib emphasised that the selected SMA and MA schools will not change\ntheir status in relation to the ministries overseeing them, whether the\nMinistry of Basic and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) for SMA or\nthe Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) for MA.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that his side will only add several supporting elements to\nprepare students to attend top universities worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn 2025, there are six universities implementing enrichment\nprogrammes, namely Universitas Negeri Jakarta, then UI, Universitas\nPendidikan Nasional or Undiknas Bali, then Universitas Padjadjaran, ITB,\nand IPB University,\u201d Najib said.<\/p>\n<p>Najib hopes that with the addition of the number of SMA Unggul Garuda\nTransformasi this year, more national talents will have the opportunity\nto access quality education in preparation for Indonesia Emas 2045.<\/p>\n<p>SMA Unggul Garuda is a school with an enhanced pre-university\ncurriculum in a boarding system equivalent to senior high school level,\nprioritising a STEM-based learning approach.<\/p>\n<p>SMA Unggul Garuda is the realisation of President Prabowo Subianto\u2019s\ngrand vision to bring Indonesian children from all corners of the nation\nto the world\u2019s best campuses.<\/p>\n<p>Graduates of SMA Unggul Garuda are prepared to continue their studies\nat top universities worldwide, both domestic and international.<\/p>\n<p>By 2029, the Indonesian Government targets at least 80 new SMA Unggul\nGaruda schools spread across various regions of Indonesia.<\/p>",
