        "content": "<p>Kemayoran vendors to be evicted<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: The Central Jakarta municipal administration plans to<br>\nevict sidewalk vendors from the main roads of Kemayoran early on<br>\nWednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Hosea Petra Lumbun said on Tuesday his office would not<br>\nrelocate the vendors, saying their presence on the streets only<br>\nworsened traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Petra said the evictions would target vendors on Jl. Cempaka<br>\nMas, Jl. Garuda, Jl. Letjen Suprapto and Jl. Benyamin Sueb.<\/p>\n<p>Kemayoran Regent Sutarman Hadi said the stalls of the vendors<br>\njutted out into the roads, disturbing traffic.<\/p>\n<p>He said 100 police officers, soldiers and public order<br>\nofficers would be deployed to carry out the evictions.<\/p>\n<p>A vendor on Jl.
