        "content": "<p>Kemayoran-Ancol train line reopens<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Starting next month, Jakartans wanting a day out in<br>\nAncol Dreamland in North Jakarta will be able to take a train<br>\ninstead of driving there since state railway PT KAI, in<br>\ncooperation with Dreamland management, will reopen the railway<br>\nline from Kemayoran in Central Jakarta to Ancol.<\/p>\n<p>The line is being reopened in order to reduce traffic<br>\ncongestion and parking problems in the Ancol complex, since many<br>\nvisitors drive private cars to Ancol in the absence of public<br>\ntransportation.<\/p>\n<p>\"We're having some trial runs before fully operating the<br>\nline,\" said Ahmad Sujadi, spokesman for PT KAI's Greater Jakarta<br>\ndivision, over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Sujadi said the electric train would also transport people<br>\nwanting to continue on to Tanjung Priok Port in North Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>PT KAI closed the route in 1999 amid low demand. --JP<\/p>",
