To date, both remain under intensive\nexamination by the Kejagung team to delve into the actual circumstances\nof the case. \u201cIn connection with this, the Aspidum of Kejati East Java,\nalong with one prosecutor serving as Head of Section in the General\nCriminal Affairs division, has been undergoing examination by the\nAttorney General\u2019s team since 17 March 2024. The examination process is\nstill ongoing,\u201d he said. Adnan stated that the case handling has been\nconducted in accordance with applicable hierarchical procedures. Before\nbeing handed over to the Attorney General\u2019s Office, Kejati Jatim claimed\nto have first conducted an initial internal and independent examination.\n\u201cAs a commitment to transparent, objective, and accountable law\nenforcement, Kejati East Java states that the handling steps have been\ntaken swiftly and hierarchically. The Chief Prosecutor, along with the\nDeputy Chief Prosecutor, has conducted an internal examination of the\nrelevant parties, and subsequently handed over the handling and further\nexamination of the individuals to the Attorney General\u2019s Office,\u201d he\nsaid. Regarding the details of the case or the substance of the matter\nleading to the examination of the two prosecutors, Adnan urged all\nparties to be patient and avoid speculation.
