        "content": "<p>Keep euphoria in check<\/p>\n<p>The Indonesian business community, represented by the chairman<br>\nof  the Indonesian Chamber of Trade and Commerce (Kadin),<br>\nAburizal Bakrie, is complaining. In the past year, it sustained<br>\nlosses amounting to a total of Rp 5 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>Commercial estates are said to have suffered the most -- about<br>\nRp 3 trillion, not counting the losses incurred because foreign<br>\nbuyers do not trust Indonesia's agricultural export products.<\/p>\n<p>Material losses are relatively easy to offset by means long<br>\nknown to businesses. More difficult to overcome is the perception<br>\nthat exists among foreign businesses that Indonesia is still a<br>\nrisky place for capital investments. What is discouraging<br>\nprospective investors even more is the perception that some<br>\npeople in this country are taking advantage of the current<br>\nsituation.<\/p>\n<p>The government must use its energy to control any negative<br>\nexpressions of the reformist euphoria.
